Here are some "real" images, the
animations (.avi) are coming soon.
The
3D computer search was made (in 3D Studio Max) for inclusion into the
L+C courseware. It made it in, and it is probable that it should be in
my Works page rather than here, but I make the rules here. So here it
is, originally the monitor model was made for a JANUS simulation I
made for IPB but that never made it into the courseware due to space,
time, and perhaps the 5th dimension. It was really simple to make (the
monitor), so don't expect me to think otherwise.
The
file cabinet was made for inclusion in to the Limitations and
Constraints course (Again, technically this should be in the works
section, but if you don't tell, neither will I). I have a number of
pictures and animations that are centered around this file cabinet,
there have to be, the course pertains to paperwork, what to do with
it, and how to do it. There was very little in the outline that called
for graphics, so I really had to be innovative to make the course
visually exciting and not a yawner.
This
is just a dark little "fire escape from Heck" I made for
Rage Doll to use on her way to her secret headquarters. This was made
in 3D Studio Max back in '96, back when I first started and was part
of my first Demo Reel. It took up so much memory because of all the
faces, that it took a week over the school's 30 networked computers to
render out all 20 seconds of it, but that is a horror story every
animator has. You want to make "Phantom Menace" first off
but can barely handle a "Steamboat Willie" on your computer.
No offense to Willie, or Disney, everyone has to start somewhere.

This is a shot from a speculative project that
never got used, we were going to use a series of Dam styles in a
teaching program developed by Blue Shoe. In case you can not tell, it
is a side view of a Dam.
This
is just a dandy little shocker inspired from back in the days when
high voltage would come out and attack people. At least this is what
Edison was saying to people when Tesla's AC came out to challenge
Edison's DC. What a nasty little genius he was, he even had it
arranged so that New York's new electric chairs were powered by it,
just to prove how dangerous alternating current supposedly was.
